The 15 a-side season has now finished and the team ended it on a high with our first  annual Awards Presentation event. See the News page for details of the winners and Pictures page for photographs of the afternoon. We ended up winning 5 out of 9 games and scored 211 points whils conceeding 183. This was a fantastic result for the first season as we ended up 5th equal out of 10 U19 clubs in North Florida.


Practice is still being held on Tuesday and Thursday nights at New Tampa Community Park (back fields) from 6 - 7.30pm as we prepare for the upcoming 7 a-side tournaments.


Recruitment - Current 8th graders who will be going to High School next semester are welcome to come along to practice. We are concentrating on 7 a-side but this is an ideal opportunity to see if you like the sport and want to join us as full members for the 2009 season. Any other 9th, 10th or 11th graders who think they've missed the season - YOU'RE WRONG - come along to practice and see what it's all about and why the current members love the game so much.

Tampa Barbarians is now registered with USA Rugby and can be found by going to www.usarugby.org  and clicking on the membership link, then club rosters and looking for the team. You also have to be registered with USA rugby in order to play so if you haven't.. and you want to play for the Tampa Barabarins... then you'd better register. This can be done by going to the same website and clicking on Membership and then join USA Rugby. Follow the prompts and when you get to the team affiliation search for Tampa Barabarians.
